This is a vertical black and white of the Sturgeon River just below Canyon Falls. This is a beautiful gorge that always draws me back. This image is great as a black and white because of the great tonality. Ironically, I first photographed this area on July 3, 2004. The fourth of July was a rainy, foggy day which made for a unique image too.
