This image is very similar to the lone tree. I like the arrangement of the clouds a little better. I have heard of these clouds being called cotton balls. Probably very accurate.

Lone Tree
I have passed this tree many times and always wanted to photograph it. Though the clouds and sky were what I had envisioned, the clouds were not exactly where I would have liked. Alas, about 10 minutes after I took this image the clouds flattened out and were no longer the white cotton balls that they were. Maybe I will get other chances. The landowner did come out to question what I was doing in the middle of his field. He was nice though and I offered to give him a print copy. Maybe a four seasons image. This would be interesting in winter and fall. Not so much in the spring or summer although I still like this image in some ways.

Another Marsh Marigold Image
Marsh Marigold Morning
I called this one "Marsh Marigold Morning" as this was taken on a glorious spring morning. This marsh area which I refer to as the "mother of all marsh marigold patches" is amazing. Not sure that the bloom is at peak yet, but the good thing is that it is close to my house.
I have to use hip waders to get back in here, and sometimes it looks like it could be over my hips. The light on this morning was spectacular - just the right amount of diffused sunlight. Several days earlier I visited and the cedar log in the middle of the stream was not as submerged. We got a lot of rain yesterday.
As always comments are welcome.
