Greetings from the UP (Upper Peninsula) of Michigan. I am up here hoping for the spring hawk and owl migration. Well today, though I saw a few hawks, no owls, my bigger find was the sandhill cranes. There were a group of three in the woods near wetland areas. Here is one of them. Have a new rented lens a Nikon 500 mm F4 which is doing a bang up job so far. Tomorrow may be more opportunities.
